We are past the midpoint of August now in Maryville. The days are getting shorter and the nights are getting long (there’s a song there somewhere right?). It also means things are going to cool down a little bit. What a great way to work in some shorter more efficient workouts that ramp up your bodies natural metabolism.
Instead of doing an hour at once…try doing 2 20-30 minute workouts OUTSIDE using body weight. Try this on for size:
Sprint 50 yards…then walk/jog back to start point lightly.
Drop down and do as many pushups as you can. Jump up and hit 10 body weight squats (with good form of course!), then repeat the sprint and jog back. Try and do 4 rounds of this.
Complete your routine with some stretching at the end. You’ll appreciate it!
Remember to get in a little warm up before you do the circuit. Exercise with good form…and get it done!!!!
